MY name's Andy and I have been a teacher of MFL for the past 30 years, having taught both French and German to GCSE and A Level as well as some KS3 Spanish and GCSE Dutch along the way. All the resources I publish here are things I use with my own classes and think could be useful to others.

FRENCH VERB PRACTICE

(0)
5 powerpoint activities (random choice) to practise verbs in 5 tenses, reflexives in the present & perfect tenses, the future and the conditional in French. Would be ideal as a starter or plenary activity in Yr10 or 11 or even as a reminder for Yr12. I uploaded the template from TES.

an extended worksheet exploring how to translate the French verbs faire and aller in to English and the English verb/word do in to French. Could be used as an introduction to translating at KS5, allowing students to discover how one verb can be translated in many different ways depending on context, metaphorical use or set expressions.
